In the SCA people who excel in their area of interest receive awards to recognize this. There are awards for every activity from fighting to service. Awards are a simple way to draw attention to the people that enrich the SCA. There are both Kingdom level and Baronial level awards. Baronial level awards are decided on and awarded by the Baron and Baroness. The Baron and Baroness are tasked to look for deserving people, but they cannot be everywhere and won’t see everything.
To aid in their task the Baron and Baroness ask people for recommendations on who is deserving of awards. To facilitate this people are encouraged to use this online award recommendation form. Anyone can submit any person for any award even if they or the recipient do not belong to the local group.
